To assist the grassroots sporting community, St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital offers an around-the-clock specialised sports injury service via our Emergency Centre (EC).
We take pride in offering high quality, urgent care for patients of all ages, at just a fraction of the cost of other private healthcare providers.
St Andrew’s offers sporting organisations or schools, a reduced out-of-pocket consultation fee of $100* (after Medicare) when they present to our EC with a sporting injury.
Located at our Emergency Centre, we have access to specialist orthopaedic surgeons as well as 24-hour expert radiology. There is state-of-the-art equipment including life-saving critical care resuscitation areas; bedside ultrasound and echocardiography; orthopaedic procedure rooms; a dedicated paediatric assessment room; and specialised ear, nose throat (ENT) and eye equipment.
*Does not include out-of-pocket fees for radiology.
