St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital Day Surgery Centre is a new, purpose-built surgical centre for same-day procedures, opening in 2025. Facilities will include a state-of-the-art operating theatre, two procedure rooms, as well as admission and recovery spaces.
It will offer a dedicated day surgery experience and wide range of procedures for adults and children who do not require an overnight stay in hospital, including:
- Plastic, oculoplastic and oncoplastic surgery.
- Pain procedures.
- Minor urology.
- Minor gynaecology.
- Maxillofacial.
- Dental.
- Minor general surgery.
The centre will be located opposite the main hospital, within St Andrew’s Place on North St, Spring Hill, and will operate Monday to Friday.
