Doctor Details

Dr Tal Jacobson is a gynaecologist who specialises in laparoscopic surgery with special interests in endometriosis, menstrual disorders, and fertility treatment.

He trained at Guy’s Hospital, London with further specialist training in fertility treatment in Oxford and minimally invasive surgery in London. He is fully accredited in advanced laparoscopic surgery and C-QUIP accredited for the investigation and management of abnormal Pap smears.

Dr Jacobson is a member of the Australian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society, Fertility Society of Australia, a Fellow of the Royal Australian and NZ College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the UK. He has published multiple papers on topics such as laparoscopic safety, endometriosis and fertility.

He is friendly and approachable with a down to earth manner and takes time to understand his patients concerns and wishes and offers a range of options tailored to their needs.

He commenced practice at St Andrew’s in 2011. He lives locally with his wife and 3 children and enjoys road cycling and mountain biking.
