A Fellow of the Australian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM), Dr Simon Rohde is a dedicated and highly-skilled Emergency Medicine Specialist with more than 10 years clinical experience.
Born and raised in Adelaide, Dr Rohde trained first in pharmacy before completing a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Flinders University. He relocated to Queensland in 2009 and commenced specialist training with ACEM in 2011.
Simon gained broad experience working across a range of public and private hospitals in Adelaide, Darwin, Brisbane, Canberra and Singapore, including The Prince Charles Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane Northside Emergency and Mater Children’s Hospital.
Dr Rohde is passionate about delivering high-quality patient-centred care in dynamic emergency settings and is committed to building and leading strong multidisciplinary teams to benefit patient outcomes and experience.
Dr Rohde was appointed Director of St Andrew’s Emergency Centre in July 2022.
