When Dr Allen completed his initial medical degree, he was lured to Queensland by the wonderful lifestyle and completed all his post-graduate study in the sunshine state.

He has helped with fertility, pregnancies, delivered babies and dealt with gynaecological issues with patients in major hospitals around southeast Queensland, most recently at St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital.

A stint with the Roma-based Flying Obstetrics and Gynaecology Service exposed Dr Allen to valuable experience in pregnancy and gynaecological surgery throughout rural Queensland.

Dr Rod Allen offers full service private obstetric, fertility and gynaecological care from his consulting rooms in Bowen Hills.  He brings a special empathy and warmth to his patients journey through gynaecology, fertility, pregnancy and birth.
