Owen Ung is a breast and endocrine surgeon and Director of the Metro North Comprehensive Breast Cancer Institute. He is a committed clinician, researcher and educator. His clinical interests are breast cancer, thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
He commenced the St Andrew’s Breast Care Service following his move from the renowned Breast Cancer Institute at Westmead in Sydney in 2009. Up until the end of 2017, he has been Director for the Centre for Breast Health, Head of the Breast and Endocrine Surgery Unit at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
