Dr Julie Agnew is an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon, specialising in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.  Dr Agnew also has a special interest in Paediatric ENT Surgery, head and neck surgery including thyroid surgery and rhinology. 

After completing her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Queensland Dr Agnew undertook her fellowship with the Australasian College of Surgeons.  She also completed a Fellowship in Charing Cross Hospital, London and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.  Dr Agnew has worked as a Visiting Medical Officer at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, the Prince Charles Hospital and has also been a supervisor of registrar training, examiner for the RACS, undertaken medical student teaching and journal reviews for the ANZ journal of surgery. 

Dr Agnew commenced practice at St Andrew’s in 1992.
