Dr Jason Ray MBBS, FANZCA, FFPMANZCA

Dr Jason Ray MBBS, FANZCA, FFPMANZCA attained his degrees in medicine and surgery at the University of Queensland.
Dr Ray completed anaesthetic specialist training in Queensland before completing his pain medicine specialist training at the Professor Tess Cramond Multidisciplinary Pain Centre at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and St Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin. In Ireland, Dr Ray trained with one of Europe’s most prolific neuromodulation implanters.
Dr Ray has held a number of positions in the Faculty of Pain Medicine, ANZCA including Scientific Convener, Annual Scientific Meeting, Cairns, 2009. He has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland since 2008.
Dr Ray has established his interventional pain medicine practice at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital. He continues to visit the Royal Brisbane Hospital both in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia. He also consults and operates at Greenslopes Private Hospital.
Dr Ray’s special interests include complex regional pain syndrome, spinal cord stimulation and interventions for spinal pain.
