Dr Graham Irvin is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in upper limb conditions including hand and wrist, elbow and shoulder conditions and all upper limb trauma. An interest in emerging techniques and technologies led to further training with fellowships in both Australia and the United Kingdom following completion of his Orthopaedic Surgery training and has he has gained experience in advanced surgical techniques covering a wide variety of conditions. He has an interest in upper limb trauma, microsurgery, and arthroscopic surgery as well as reconstructive shoulder, elbow and hand surgery and joint replacement surgery. Graham completed his surgical training though the Australian Orthopaedic Association in Queensland in 2023. Following completion of his training in Orthopaedic Surgery he has completed the Brisbane Hand and Upper Limb Fellowship in Australia and Hand and Wrist Fellowship in Manchester in the United Kingdom in a combined Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery Unit. Graham has also completed a Certificate in Microsurgery at the National University Hospital in Singapore in 2022. Graham is an Associate Lecturer though the University of Queensland Faculty of Medicine and enjoys teaching medical students. He has presented at many conferences and enjoys opportunities to travel and learn new techniques. A collaborative approach with other health professionals and a focus on excellent patient outcomes underpins Graham’s practice. Graham consults from the Osseo Suites at Greenslopes Private Hospital and has onsite hand therapy and physiotherapy and operates at both St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital in Spring Hill and Greenslopes Private Hospital.
