Dr Bell-Allen’s specialty area is otorhinolaryngology (ENT) – adult and paediatric with sub specialties in paediatric ENT, otology and cochlear implants, sinus surgery and general adult ENT.
Having trained at Queensland University Dr Bell-Allen graduated in 1985 and attained his Fellowship of Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 1994. Dr Bell-Allen completed a fellowship year at Nottingham/Leicester UK and has been in in private practice since 1996.
He is a Visiting Medical Practitioner at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Dr Bell-Allen has extensive experience in paediatric ENT and middle ear surgery He has been performing cochlear implant surgery since 1998. He is also a surgeon for the Royal Children’s Hospital Cochlear Implant program and is a surgeon for ATTUNE Cochlear Implant Program. Dr Bell-Allen is also associated with the Hear and Say Centre for deaf children.
He is a member of RACS, ASOHNS and AMA.
Dr Bell-Allen commenced practice at St Andrew’s in 1996.
