Associate Professor Christopher Que Hee received his medical degree with honours from the University of Queensland in 1993. He then trained in various Brisbane Hospitals in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery, receiving his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the end of 2002.

In 2003, he pursued further fellowship training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and The Royal Melbourne Hospital, committed to surgery of the ear, cochlear implantation and acoustic neuroma surgery.

Dr Que Hee is an Associate Professor at the University of Queensland and lectures to Medical Students, Audiologists and General Practitioners. 

Chris is an ear and cochlear implant surgeon privately and at the Queensland Children’s Hospital and Mater Hospital Brisbane.  He has performed over 800 cochlear implant surgeries and teaches cochlear implant surgery to both Australian and International surgeons.  He is an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.

His interests include hearing loss, cochlear and bone conduction implants, stapedectomy, cholesteatoma surgery, microtia and aural atresia and general paediatric ENT Surgery.

Dr Que Hee commenced his private practice at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital in 2004 and consults in Spring Hill, Cleveland and North Lakes.
