Dr Caron Forde completed her undergraduate training at Flinders University in Adelaide. After completing the Australian postgraduate qualification for Obstetrics and Gynaecology – F.R.A.C.O.G, Dr Forde worked overseas for a few years – in Ireland and England.
Working in both private and public practice, Dr Forde also became involved in teaching. She has held a number of positions – Senior Lecturer Uni of Qld, Senior Consultant at Mater Hospital, Training supervisor and now is an examiner for Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetric and Gynaecology. Dr Forde was the Gynaecologist for the International Olympic and Paralympic Committees for the Winter Olympics in 2010.
Dr Forde currently holds the position of Director of Gynaecology at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital.
