Dr Anojan (Ano) Navaratnam is a Urologist subspecializing in Urologic Oncology and Endourology.  He has completed a 2 year fellowship at Mayo Clinic Arizona, USA. He is the only Urologist in Queensland to have trained at this world leading health organization and to have credentialing from the world recognized Endourological Society. 

Ano is the lead robotic Urologist at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. He performs the most robotic surgeries of any surgeon in the public sector in Queensland and has performed over 500 robotic procedures.

He specializes in robotic surgery for Radical Prostatectomy, Partial Nephrectomy, Radical Nephrectomy, Radical Cystectomy with Ileal conduit or Neobladder, Retroperitoneal Lymph Node Dissection and Ureteric Reconstruction. He also treats general urological conditions such as kidney stones, hematuria (blood in urine), urination problems and men's health issues.

In addition to his robotic experience, Ano has received fellowship training in treatment of kidney stones and prostate enlargement. Specifically he is the only fellowship trained surgeon in Queensland for Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) but offers alternatives such as TURP, Rezum and Urolift.

After growing up in Brisbane, Ano moved to Sydney to complete medical school at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) with honors in 2007. He then completed his Urological Surgical training in Queensland. Ano is a Consultant Urologist and Robotic Surgeon and is passionate about providing cutting edge urological care to Queenslanders. Ano consults in Brisbane, Strathpine and Mackay.
