    Patient and visitor information

    To contain the spread of COVID-19 and to keep our patients and staff safe, St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital is monitoring visitors. Masks must be worn.

    Thank you for your understanding. Our dedicated teams are doing their best to keep everyone safe and well.

    You should not visit the hospital if you:

    • have travelled overseas (not including Government recognised Safe Travel Zones) or from a declared hot spot, place of concern or an exposure venue or had close contact with a person who has COVID-19 in the previous 14 days.
    • are unwell or sick with symptoms such as a fever (37.5 degrees or more), a cough, runny nose, sore throat, breathing difficulties and/or loss of taste and/or loss of smell?
    • are waiting on COVID-19 test results.

    At the entrance to the hospital, everyone entering is required to have their temperature screened using a thermal imaging camera; and complete the Checkin Qld App
