Each year, St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital recognises the service and commitment of our staff on St Andrew’s Day.

We proudly recognised staff who received recognition of service awards for 50, 35, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10 and 5 years as well as the Spirit of St Andrew’s awards, recognising individuals who demonstrated excellence that reflects and supports our Mission and Values.

Hospital General Manager Mairi McNeill said this St Andrew’s Day was extra special after the hospital’s success at UnitingCare’s Full Circle Awards the week prior.

“After our finalists and wins at an organisational wide level, it’s wonderful to recognise all our colleagues campus-wide,” Ms McNeill said. “We said it last year and we’re saying it again this year – 2021 has been tough with lockdowns, masks, PPE – yet each person has gone above and beyond to keep our patients, visitors and their colleagues safe.

“I’m proud of each and every person for their efforts and St Andrew’s Day means we can celebrate our teams,” she said.
