Two valued members of the St Andrew's family retired today as Win and Eric Westacott stepped down from their volunteer roles.
Between them, they have 50 years of service to the hospital. Win has been a volunteer at St Andrew’s since 1988 and Eric started volunteering in 1992. He was also the Treasurer of our Auxiliary. Prior to volunteering with us, Win worked as a nurse in the 1970s & 80s at St Andrew's.
Both Win and Eric were awarded the Moderator’s Medal for services to St Andrew’s and outstanding community service. Between them, they have touched the lives of an enormous number of patients and their dedication and good humour will be greatly missed.
We wish them all the best for their retirement and sincerely thank them for their many years of service.
