Dr Mark Ray MBBS FRACS (Gen) FRACS (Vasc)
An established Vascular Surgeon, Dr Mark Ray graduated from the University of Queensland in 1993 and obtained his first Fellowship in General Surgery in 2001. Then in 2004 after completing a further 3 years of vascular training Dr Ray obtained a second Fellowship in Vascular Surgery. He has trained in Brisbane and Melbourne.
Dr Ray specialises in peripheral vascular disease, diabetic feet, carotid disease, aneurysms, thoracic outlet and venous disease including radiofrequency ablation.
He also has a VMO Appointment at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and is well established in private practice. He is interested and skilled in all aspects of Open and Endovascular surgery. Dr Ray also has a keen interest in Vascular Access surgery and is involved in Kidney Transplantation at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
