Dr Wilbur Chan MBBS, FRACGP, FAFRM, FFPMANZCA
Dr Wilbur Chan is a Rehabilitation Medicine & Pain Medicine Physician. He is the Director of Wesley Rehabilitation Services and a Visiting Medical Officer to the St Andrew’s Multidisciplinary Pain Management Service. Dr Chan is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians’ Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, and Fellow of the Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists' Faculty of Pain Medicine. He was also a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners. He is a senior examiner for Fellowship examinations of these Colleges.
Dr Chan is a Senior Lecturer at University of Queensland's School of Medicine. He is appointed as a member of General Medical Assessment Tribunal of QComp, and a Certified Independent Medical Examiner. He had postgraduate qualifications in musculoskeletal and occupational medicine. His special clinical interests are in spinal and brain injury medicine, spasticity management, orthopaedic, neurological and amputee rehabilitation. He is experienced in supervising gradual return to work programs.
